Wizz Air transported 2.4 million passengers in February of this year, 12.9% more than in the same month of 2018, driven by a 9.3% increase in the offer. Its load factor was 94.2%, three percentage points less than a year ago, according to data published by the company.
The airline received two additional A321 aircraft, which raised the number of aircraft in its fleet to 108. The company launched five new routes to Poland, Ukraine and Budapest and added two new destinations Castellón (Spain) and Bodo (Norway) to its network. As a result, it added an additional 12.8% of the offer and increased the demand for its operations by 16.5%.
In the last twelve months (February 28, 2018-28 February 2019), passenger volume increased by 17.8%, adding 34.3 million passengers, after applying 16.2% more of the offer. The load factor was 92.6%, 1.3 percentage points more.
Wizz Air operates 650 routes from 26 bases, connecting 146 destinations spread over 44 countries.
