This hotel joins the ‘W Brisbane’ and the ‘W Melbourne’, which will also open in 2020
W Hotels Worldwide, subsidiary of Marriott International, has announced that it will open its third hotel in Australia in the city of Sydney in 2020, which will join the other two that the firm has in the country: the ‘W Brisbane’ and the ‘W Melbourne ‘, also scheduled for 2020.
Built and developed by Grocon and funded by Greaton Group, ‘W Sydney’ will feature 593 rooms, suites and apartments, and guests will have a restaurant, two bars, a spa, a state-of-the-art gym and 925 square meters of space for events, including a large ballroom.
After the signing of the recent openings of ‘W Amman’, ‘W Panama’ and ‘W Shanghai’, W Hotels is approaching its goal of 75 hotels by the end of 2020.
‘W Sydney’ will also be part of the portfolio of 18 expanding hotels of Marriott International and the 20 properties that the hotel group has in development in Australia, including ‘The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne’, ‘The Ritz-Carlton Perth’, and ‘The Tasman, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart’.
