The HomeAway platform has presented the first edition of the Destiny ‘Family-Friendly’ initiative in Spain 2018, which will make known the ideal national destinations for family vacations, among which are the Valencian Community, Valencia and Jávea (Alicante) .
The objective of the project, born with a vocation of continuity, is to recognize the work carried out by Spanish municipalities to welcome families and guarantee a “memorable” vacation.
The election of the winners, which is announced on Wednesday 30, is done through an online vote and will include a total of 18 candidates previously chosen through social networks.
The candidates are divided into three different categories that represent the diversity and typology of national tourist destinations: municipalities located on the coast, where Jávea is present; urban areas, in which Valencia participates; and in rural environments.
Each of them has been chosen by the families that use HomeAway because they meet six specific indicators that Spanish families consider essential when choosing their holiday destination.
