The organizing committee has sent a letter to all the participants explaining that after a thorough analysis, all viable options were analyzed, finally determining that the best option was to cancel it.
«The circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, including global travel restrictions, flight reductions, mandatory social distancing, and orders to stay home, both in the United States and abroad, have made this year’s event impossible to execute, «said Malcolm Smith, general manager of IPW in a statement.
Next week the reimbursement procedures will be reported to the operators and providers of tourist services that were going to participate. Organizers will also provide additional information about IPW 2021.
The IPW is a national fair in the United States where exhibitors from the most diverse destinations in the country establish contacts with travel buyers from more than 70 countries around the world.
