Tourism Promotion of Ibiza has requested collaboration to combat the intrusion on the Island, with the objective that both residents and tourists enjoy a “safe and responsible” environment.
As reported in a statement, on August 12 the entity distributed among its partners a circular requesting their collaboration.
They have also asked them the “maximum responsibility” when hiring services and that they are “demanding” to verify that they meet all the legal requirements necessary to exercise their services and activities.
Likewise, they have assured to put themselves at the service of the Insular Consell and its office against the intrusion to send them all the complaints that they are receiving.
As they have concluded, they value “much” the effort that the Consell is making against illegal tourist rentals, reiterating that “all kinds of abuses and illegalities” must be combated.
“Illegality is a circle that breaks not by hiring illegals,” he concluded.
