Thomas Cook’s office in Palma creates 325 new jobs and will be the workplace of 700 people

The newly opened office of the tourist group Thomas Cook in Palma has led to the creation of 325 new jobs and will be the workplace of 700 employees with different functions.

This was highlighted by Thomas Cook in a press release on the occasion of the premiere of the headquarters in Palma, inaugurated last Friday with the discovery of a commemorative plaque by the group’s product and operations director, Chris Mottershead.

The new office, located in the Carrer de Calçat in Palma, will concentrate all the current operations of Thomas Cook in Mallorca and creates 325 new jobs related mainly to finance.

Thomas Cook has incorporated more than 200 employees since September 2017, as part of the expansion of services that his new office will provide to the rest of the group, including the group’s shared services center.

The group will continue with the recruitment process for several key positions in the new headquarters.

In this way, Palma is already the home of the Connected Services department, which provides assistance to group clients during their vacations; the receptive agency with a personalized holiday offer for all of Spain and Portugal, and another series of support functions for the group’s operations throughout Europe.
