Thomas Cook China expands its portfolio with two new hotels

Thomas Cook China has announced plans to increase the portfolio of private label hotels in China with two additional projects, including the first Asian project Casa Cook.

Thomas Cook Grouo executive director Peter Frankhauser and Fosun Tourism executive director Jim Qian signed the memorandum of understanding for the creation of a Cook House and a Thomas Cook Sunwing Family Resort in Lijiang and Taicang at the end of last month. , respectively.

The two properties follow the projects announced with DreamEast Group, a leading company in the development of tourist complexes listed in Hong Kong, for the two hotel complexes of Jiashan and Hengyang.

The hotels will be operated under franchise by Thomas Cook Hotels & Resorts, adding more properties to their portfolio of hotel developments. In the summer of 2019, it will operate 200 hotels, with more than 40,000 rooms in 47 destinations around the world.
