The port of Huelva received on Monday morning the luxury cruise ship Seabourn Ovation, which has docked for the first time in the South Dock, with 569 passengers and a crew of 418 people. This ship, of recent construction, belongs to the shipping company Seabourn Cruises and made its maiden voyage in May 2018. It has a Bahamas flag and 210 meters in length.
The Seabourn Ovation has made entry at 6.30 am at the South Pier of the Port of Huelva, from Portimao and its cruise passengers have been received by the entertainment group Almadraba, having tourist information, brochures and maps, as well as service of buses from 9.15 hours for transfer from the South Pier to the center of Huelva (Casa Colón), place where they have been able to taste wines of denomination of origin served by a venenciadora and tourist advice.
In addition, tourists have been able to choose to make several excursions to visit the old town of Seville or a guided tour through the Bollullos Par del Condado wineries.
The cruise ship Seabourn Ovation, which will sail this Monday at 17.00 hours to Malaga, will be the fifteenth cruise of the 17 planned this season in Huelva port.
This has been coordinated within the Huelva Cruise Network working group, where different institutions such as the City of Huelva, the Tourist Board, the Chamber of Commerce and the FOE, the Port Authority of Huelva and different companies and related organizations are represented with tourism.
