The insurer of the German subsidiary of Thomas Cook assumes the hotel and flight expenses of the travelers

Zurich Insurance, the insurer of the German subsidiary of Thomas Cook, will assume all hotel expenses and customer flights after the company has announced the suspension of payments as a result of the bankruptcy of its parent company, according to the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Spain.

German travelers who are in Spain should go to this insurer for questions regarding the hotel or the return flight. To do this, Zurich Insourance has opened a customer service line.

In addition, in the event that problems arise in the hotel, travelers who are in Spain can go to the competent German representation at their place of vacation for help.

On the other hand, the airline Condor, also of the group, will receive a support from the German Government of 380 million euros, so that its flights will continue to operate normally.
