The Portuguese airline TAP has announced the launch of two new destinations for next year: Naples and Tenerife, with inaugural flights scheduled to begin on June 15, 2019.
Naples is the sixth destination of TAP in Italy, while Tenerife is the eleventh route of the company to Spain and the second to the Canary Islands after the launch of the service to Gran Canaria in 2017.
There will be one flight per day to Naples, departing from Lisbon at 7:15 am and arriving at the Italian city at 11:15 am, except on Saturdays, when the flight leaves Lisbon at 9:05 am and arrives at Naples at 1:05. The flights are available from 59 euros. TAP Miles & Go customers can buy tickets back to Naples for 21,400 miles.
The company will also operate seven flights a week to Tenerife, leaving Lisbon at 9:30 am and arriving in the Canary Islands at 12 noon. The flights are available from 77 euros. TAP Miles & Go customers can buy tickets back to Tenerife for 16,400 miles.
The expansion and renewal of the TAP fleet has made these new routes possible. The company has already received seven Airbus aircraft this year, with more arrivals in the coming years, to a total of 37 new aircraft by 2019 and 71 by 2025.
