Seville expects 2018 to be the “best year of tourism” in the city, with 5.5 million overnight stays

The delegate councilor of Urban Habitat, Culture and Tourism of Seville, the socialist Antonio Muñoz, has expected 2018 to be “the best year in the history of tourism” for Seville, since it is expected that there are around 5.5 million overnight stays .

To questions from journalists, after signing an agreement with the Association of Quantity Surveyors and Technical Architects of Seville to promote energy efficiency, Muñoz explained that it is “undoubted” that Christmas in Seville is not a low season, but a vacation period for many families, especially in Spain, before which the city presents a “varied and rich offer from the cultural and Christmas point of view”.

In this sense, remember that in December there are two periods of high occupation, such as the bridge of the days of the Immaculate and the Constitution and the celebration of Christmas, a second section where there is, for the moment, an 85 percent occupancy in the city. However, it indicates that the figure may still vary and expects it to continue increasing in the coming days.
