Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury receives the EarthCheck Silver Certification

The Mauritian hotel chain Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is celebrating, as its 5 * GL Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury establishment, part of “The Leading Hotels of the World”, has been recognized with the EarthCheck Silver Certification, thanks to the eco-friendly practices in which it has been investing for years to promote both energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions, among others.

With the implementation of sustainable development programs, the EarthCheck label has been achieved, which certifies that the hotel has established good practices and procedures to reduce the negative impact on the environment of high energy consumption.

Mathieu Rivet, engineering manager of the Beachcomber Resort & Hotels group, firmly believes that this new certification will boost and strengthen the measures initiated so far by the chain, since it is important to raise awareness that the activities of a hotel can have harmful consequences for the natural environment and for the community in general.

Also, since one of its priorities is to provide a unique experience to its customers, this award is outlined as the result of the exhaustive daily work and the general participation of the group’s teams and the “Green Team”. Therefore, it is intended to continue offering guests the excellence, through rigorous training of staff and respect for audits; as well as maintaining the premium establishment position that guarantees the Silver EarthCheck Certification.

This official title is a great achievement for Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury and symbolizes an elegant and, at the same time, responsible art of living, a distinctive feature of the hotels of the chain.

All this effort has the final objective of achieving the same EarthCheck Silver Certification in all the establishments that Beachcomber Resort & Hotels has on the island of Mauritius before the end of 2019, thus reinforcing the group’s ideology to find sustainable solutions to the challenges it faces. the planet and protect the environment.
