Royal Caribbean extends the global suspension of its cruises

The Royal Caribbean Cruises shipping company has decided to extend the suspension of the trips of its entire fleet worldwide given the global public health circumstances.

The company says they are working with their passengers to address this interruption of their vacation and that they «sincerely regret» the inconvenience caused. They are also working with their crew «to solve the problems this decision causes them.»

The company hopes to return to service on May 12. Due to the announced closure of the ports, they hope to return to service for departures from Alaska, Canada and New England on July 1.
