Royal Caribbean extends its cancellation policy until September 1

Royal Caribbean Group extends its ‘Cruise with confidence’ cancellation policy until September 1 with the aim of «addressing the expansion of global travel restrictions and providing greater peace of mind in passenger planning.»

Updating this measure seeks to improve planning flexibility by allowing cancellations up to 48 hours before the start of the cruise «for whatever reason.» Customers will receive a full credit towards their fare, which can be used on any future cruise during 2020 or 2021.

The extension applies to both new and existing cruise bookings. In addition to alleviating passenger concerns with reservations already made, the policy seeks to improve consumer confidence in making future reservations, knowing that last-minute travel adjustments will incur no penalty.

The new measure is in force for all cruises that sail until September 1, 2020 inclusive, and will be offered by the brands that are part of the company: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara and Silversea.

All complete information about the ‘Cruise with Confidence’ policy can be found on the respective websites of the brands.
