Rent a holiday home in Spain this summer is 9% more expensive, according to a study

The average price to book a holiday home for 4 people on a Spanish peninsular coast this summer is around 770 euros per week, which represents an average increase of almost 9% compared to the summer of 2018, according to the ‘Price Report of the Vacation rental on the Spanish coast ‘made by Spain-Holiday.

This report analyzes the average prices per week of each of the 10 selected Spanish coasts, offers a comparison between them and shows the price difference of the holiday rental between the high season – July and August – and the middle season – June and September–.

The conclusions of this report also show that at the peak of the high season – the first half of August – the most expensive holiday rentals occur on the Costa Dorada, on the Costa de la Luz and on the Costa Blanca, where they surpass the 1,150 euros per week.

Meanwhile, in the same period, the cheapest holiday rental is on the Costa Cálida, where booking a tourist accommodation for 4 people costs, on average, 740 euros for a week. In the same line are the Costa Tropical and the Costa de Almeria, where a week of accommodation costs an average of 789 euros.
