The ports dependent on the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will register this April a movement of 116,647 cruise passengers, 8,000 more than in the same thirty of 2018, which will arrive in 62 scales of large ships.
Specifically, it will be the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Palma that add up to the aforementioned increase, reaching 76,744 cruise passengers in the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 32,900 in La Palma.
There will be five days in which, in Tenerife, there will be up to three ships in port, the first Sunday of the month, on April 7, being the one chosen for the docking of the Pacific Coast, Sea Spirit and Zenith, which will mean the arrival of six thousand visitors among cruise passengers and visitors.
Higher figures will be registered, also with three ships in port, on Fridays 5 and 12 and Resurrection Sunday itself, with 9,000 visitors.
In fact, in Easter there will be 25,800 cruise passengers arriving in Tenerife through its capital port, a week in which eleven cruises will dock with full visits every day of the week. Not in vain, of the thirty days of the month only in four we will not enjoy his presence in port.
As far as the other ports are concerned, the figures for this purpose will be similar to those of April 2018, with a forecast of 6,200 cruise passengers in the port of La Gomera and eight hundred in La Estaca, in El Hierro.
