Palladium will open its two resorts in Costa Mujeres (Mexico) this month with an investment of 247 million

It will house the first ‘Rafa Nadal Tennis Center’ in the world

Palladium Hotel Group will open on February 18th officially its two resorts in Costa Mujeres, located north of Cancun (Mexico), after an investment of about 280 million dollars (246.8 million euros).

The complex includes 1,146 deluxe rooms spread over two new five stars: the ‘Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa’ (673 rooms), and the ‘TRS Coral Hotel’ (473 rooms) for adults only.

The facilities also house the first ‘Rafa Nadal Tennis Center’ in the world, a spa and wellness center of 4,740 square meters and a villa with restaurants, bars and amphitheaters, among others.

This resort, which is one of the most important launches in Mexico and the largest project within the group, will celebrate its grand official opening event with the presence of the company’s CEO, Abel Matutes, as well as the tennis player Rafael Nadal, to promote its first center outside Mallorca.

After an opening period of three months, this event will symbolize the official opening of both properties and the center dedicated to tennis.


The ‘Rafa Nadal Tennis Center Costa Mujeres’ will offer tennis programs developed by Nadal and his technical team for all levels and ages, suitable both for hotel guests and local residents.

Each tennis program is personalized and is directed by coaches of the Rafa Nadal Academy of Movistar. With eight clay tennis courts, a soccer field, a paddle court, a gym for warm-up, stretching and basic training, an exhibition area, a shop with exclusive sports products and a bar-cafeteria. It will be one of the most complete tennis facilities in Mexico.
