Oceania Cruises will eliminate plastic water bottles from its ships

Oceania Cruises has announced that it will eliminate plastic water bottles from its ships as part of a sustainability initiative in partnership with Vero Water.

This sustainable initiative is one of the new improvements of the ‘OceaniaNEXT’ program of the brand and is part of the company’s ‘Sail & Sustain’ program.

The shipping company will incorporate the Vero Water electronic water system on its ships, equipping them with gas and still purification systems from April. With these changes approximately three million plastic bottles per year will be eliminated.
