On March 11, 2020, Edge will open to the public, an outdoor observation deck on the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards, 345 meters above the Big Apple, which will become the tallest outdoor viewpoint not only in New York , but from the entire western hemisphere.

Located in the new residential and fashionable neighborhood of New York City Hudson Yards, the building stands out for an avant-garde design clearly visible from a distance, from which an original 20-meter glass platform stands out, totally uncovered.

This exterior viewpoint is surrounded by 79 glass panels that form an angle that allows you to peek over the city. The observation platform of almost 350 tons, designed by William Pedersen and Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, consists of 15 sections, each weighing between 15 and 45 tons, bolted and anchored to the east and south sides of the building.

After a short 60-second elevator ride, travelers will reach the 100th floor, from where they can opt for the inner observatory, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the city, or the outdoor terrace with views to the south and the east, with some of the emblematic buildings, such as the Empire State Building.

Tickets for visits that month are now available on the viewpoint website. It will be open seven days a week throughout the year, from 8 in the morning until midnight. General tickets for adults cost between 36 and 38 euros, and those for children, between 31 and 33 euros.

The skyscraper, which will also host a shopping center with shops and restaurants, will also house in some of its plants offices of companies such as CNN or HBO.
