MSC receives its third new generation ship that will have Barcelona as a base port

MSC Cruises officially reissued on Monday at the Fincantieri de Monfalcone shipyard in Italy, its new flagship ‘MSC Seaview’, its third new generation ship, which will have as port the port of Barcelona and will enter service in twelve months, the shipping company reported in a note.

The delivery ceremony was held in the presence of the owner of the ship, founder and CEO of MSC Cruises, Ginaluigi Aponte, together with local authorities.

After the entry into service of the ‘MSC Seaside’ at the end of 2017, the shipping company will begin its inaugural season with this new boat in the Mediterranean, with weekly departures from Barcelona, and will go to South America in the winter season, thus reinforcing its presence in both markets.
