MSC Cruises has announced that it will have 102 stops in the port of Palma during 2019 and, according to the calculations of the company, “more than 330,000 tourists” will arrive in the city.
This has been reported by the company through a statement in which they have detailed that the figure represents an increase of 12 percent compared to 2018, when the shipping company made 91 calls in the port of Palma. In addition, they have specified that the shipping company will offer a weekly departure from April to October through five boats.
One of the cruisers, the MSC Fantasia, will make a total of 26 departures from April 22 to October 14 from the port of Palma, which implies about four stopovers a month in the port of Palma only of this vessel, with destinations to Mediterranean cities such as Ibiza, Naples, Livorno, Genoa or Marseille.
