Meliá will have thirteen hotels in Vietnam by 2020

Meliá Hotels International has announced the signing of a new establishment, the ‘Meliá Ninh Binh’ in Vietnam, with 160 rooms, with which it consolidates its presence in Southeast Asia, where it already has six operating hotels and another seven in the process of opening.

Under this new agreement, the Mallorcan hotel company will start operating in May the current ‘The Reed Hotel’, which will become the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand in January 2020, once it has adapted all its facilities to the brand.

Meliá Hotels International continues its commitment to the Asia-Pacific region, counting, after the signing of the ‘Meliá Ninh Binh’, with 20 operational hotels and another 32 in the process of opening.

The ‘Meliá Ninh Bihn’ is located two hours away from Hanoi, the city where the ‘Meliá Hanoi’ is located, one of the company’s reference hotels in the Asia-Pacific region. The area is a destination for business tourism growth, being also the departing point also to the main tourist attractions in the area: the Cuc Phuong National Park; the Trang An area, or the historic city of Hoa Lu.

With an orientation towards a corporate travel clientele, the hotel offers 4,000 square meters for meetings and events and also has an infinity pool, a fitness center and a VIP lounge, as well as an international cuisine restaurant and a cafeteria.

In addition, operated by the ‘Meliá Ninh Binh’ and located next to the hotel, is the Ninh Binh Convention Center that offers another 6,000 square meters for the organization of major events.
