Meliá opens a new luxury resort in Cuba, fourth of the Paradisus brand

Meliá Hotels International increases the number of its establishments in Cuba with the opening of the Paradisus Los Cayos resort, the fourth of the Paradisus brand of the chain on the island and the first located on Cayo Santa María.

Paradisus Los Cayos is a sustainable resort located within the Buenavista Biosphere Reserve, which has the second most important barrier reef in the world.

The hotel, which has 802 suites and junior suites, also has 34 swimming pools and 190 rooms ‘garden swim up’ with direct access to them.

This new resort, with All Inclusive service, has the exclusive The Reserve area, designed for those who want personalized attention and a ‘Royal Service’ area with exclusive access to restaurants, bars, lobby and hotel pools; as well as a special butler service.

The establishment has 12 restaurants and 14 bars, as well as a space of 959 square meters for meetings, including a hall of 910 square meters, which allows a total capacity of 910 people in theater format and 500 in banquet style.

Meliá has a total of 32 establishments in Cuba: eleven in Varadero, five in Cayo Santa María, four in Cayo Coco, three in Cienfuegos, three in Havana, two in Camagüey, two in Cayo Guillerno, and one in Cayo Largo and one in Santiago de Cuba.
