The hotel chain MedPlaya will invest 8.9 million euros in renovating the Hotel Río Park in Benidorm, works that will start in January 2019 and end in May.
The company has reported that the remodeling of the complex will allow the hotel to go from two to four stars, and adds to the 3.3 million euros that cost the two phases prior to the work.
After the remodeling of five floors with the two previous phases, this 2019 will be renovated the other seven floors of the establishment, which will involve the reform of furniture and pavements of 238 rooms.
The reception will also be remodeled, new public baths will be created, the accessibility of the elevators and the pool will be improved, and 14 family rooms with adapted bathrooms will be built.
On the outside of the hotel a new aquatic play area with two swimming pools – one of them without depth – and a specific leisure area for children will be created.
