The restaurant Melvin de Las Terrazas de Abama, the chef with the most Michelin stars in Spain, offers individualized gastronomic experiences with the highest quality standard through the exclusive service ‘Chef at home’
The restaurant Melvin located in the social club of Las Terrazas de Abama, in the Tenerife municipality of Guía de Isora, will be the first establishment managed by Martín Berasategui to offer ‘Chef at home’, that is to say, an integral catering service at home.
Diners who decide to enjoy ‘Chef at home by Melvin’ will only have to relax and live a high-altitude gastronomic experience with total privacy and with the personalized explanations and attention of Diego Dato, head chef of the establishment, who will previously design the personalized menu according to the tastes and requirements of its customers, and will personally travel to offer with their team a service that includes wine pairings and presentation, integrating all the assembly and disassembly of the event.
The Berasategui firm takes another step in its clear vocation and customer orientation and shows with this new commitment its involvement with the tourist development of Abama as a destination, by exclusively maintaining the service available only to travelers staying in the complex 5 star Las Terrazas de Abama, managed by My Way Meaningful Hotels, and for families residing in this exclusive resort.
It is a new proposal to promote foodie tourism, a whole incentive for the gastroviajeros to decide on Abama when choosing a destination to make a break or enjoy a vacation in this paradise located in the south of Tenerife.
Melvin by Martín Berasategui, the only Canarian restaurant highlighted in the latest ranking published by El Tenedor, portal of the Tripadvisor Group, is making a great effort since its opening in December 2018 to improve and differentiate its services from MB ** and Txoko, the two other establishments managed by the renowned Basque chef and also located in Abama.
Melvin offers a modern vision of Mediterranean cuisine, the brand of the house, and in its menu, especially the meat and grilled fish. Its offer is designed for lovers of modern food to “deconstruct” traditional dishes and serve them with a careful presentation that brims with imagination.
To complete the experience, those who do not have the privilege of residing in this resort, can always choose to stay overnight at Las Terrazas de Abama, a holiday complex of luxury homes that offers its guests the same services and amenities as a hotel. Opened in 2015, it currently has five lines of apartments with one to four bedrooms, all with terraces from which you can enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Abama Golf and the island of La Gomera.
