Ibiza and Menorca occupy the seventh and ninth places in the national ranking, according to the travel website
The island of Mallorca occupies the ninth place in the list of the 10 best destinations in Europe and the second place at the national level, according to the preferences of travelers of the travel website TripAdvisor, which on Monday announced the winners of the Travelers Choice awards.
Regarding the rest of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza is in seventh place at the national level while Menorca reaches the ninth position in the ranking of preferred destinations by TripAdvisor travelers in Spain.
In this edition of the awards, London has risen as the winning destination in 2019, both globally and in Europe. Paris and Rome, are positioned in the second and third place, respectively. For its part, Spain has 10 award-winning cities, one of them worldwide and three at European level.
Thus, Barcelona has ranked 7th on the world list, 5th in the European ranking and as the star destination of the year in the national ranking in first position. For its part, Mallorca is in the 2nd place in Spain and 9th in Europe, while Tenerife has climbed four places, ranking 10th in Europe.
Finally, the company has detailed that the winners of the awards have been selected using an algorithm based on the ratings and ratings of hotels, restaurants and experiences of destinations around the world for a period of 12 months.
