Leonardo Hotels announces today the construction of a new establishment in Barcelona with 204 rooms and category 4 * Superior, located in the vicinity of Fira Barcelona and which will be the first hotel to be built in Barcelona, ​​with all the necessary requirements, following the tourist moratorium 2015. The project has been carried out by TDA Arquitectura y Urbanismo, being the winner of the construction Acsa, Obras e Infraestructuras, Sorigué group company.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Fira Barcelona will be the fourth hotel of Leonardo Hotels in the capital of Catalonia and the ninth in Spain. The company landed in the Spanish market four years ago and since then has been implanted in Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Granada and Bilbao.
The new hotel will begin construction soon and plans to open its doors at the end of 2020. Barcelona City Council has approved this new project that will generate 50 new jobs, while contributing to the renovation of the hotel plant with a category establishment higher.

The first Leonardo Royal Hotel in Spain

The new hotel, together with Fira de Barcelona, ​​will be the first one that Leonardo Hotels operates in Spain under the Leonardo Royal Hotels brand. This teaches the properties with category 4 * Superior, which are characterized by an offer of accommodation and first class services, in an environment of comfort and well-being.

Leonardo Royal Hotel Fira Barcelona will occupy an 11-storey building, with an infinity pool on its rooftop terrace, enjoying great panoramic views. The hotel will have three meeting rooms with capacity for 300 people and parking with 150 parking spaces. The decoration will follow a contemporary and elegant line, coordinated by the company’s interior designer, Andreas Neudham.
