LATAM Airlines will launch a new connection between Europe and Latin America that will link the German city of Munich with Sao Paulo, and that will begin operations on June 26, 2019, the air group announced today.
The new route will have four weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) with Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with capacity for 191 passengers in Economy class and 30 in Premium Business.
Munich becomes the ninth point of connection between both continents and in the second in Germany, after Frankfurt, in the network of the air group that connects Europe with Latin America.
“We are the company that best connects Europe to Latin America, offering routes to over 120 destinations, and the best network for travel within South America, no other airline offers our connections and our wide range of flights and times,” he claimed the general director of the group in Europe, Rodrigo Contreras Brain.
The four weekly flights will take off from Munich at 20:15 local time and will land in Sao Paulo at 04:35 local time the next day, on a trip with 13:20 hours.
From Sao Paulo, they will fly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing scheduled at 23:25 local time from the Guarulhos airport, and arrival at the aerodrome Franz Josef Strauss Munich, at 17:15 local time next day, on a trip with 12:50 hours.

“Our goal is to keep improving our network based on a policy of sustainable development of routes, enabling us to strengthen our position as the airline that best meets the needs of our customers with the best connections,” said Contreras .
