celebrates five years joining Fuerteventura with the United Kingdom

The airline has been five years since the inauguration of the routes linking the Fuerteventura Airport with Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and London / Stansted.

This has been reported by Aena in a press release in which she adds that during this five-year period, the British company has scheduled more than 5,800 flights at the airport and served more than one million passengers.

In addition, during this summer season, the Majorero airport is scheduled to offer 131,220 seats with the United Kingdom on the 598 scheduled flights. These data represent an increase of 10.5% in the places offered with this country with respect to the same period of 2018.

Finally, for the celebration of this fifth anniversary, the director of the Airport, Luis López Chapí, together with the acting president of the Fuerteventura Cabildo, Marcial Morales, the manager of the Tourist Board, Moisés Jorge, and representatives of the airline, the General Manager Canaries & Portugal, Antonio Bravo, and Station Manager FUE, Erkin Halil, have participated in the traditional welcoming ceremony in which he has cut a commemorative cake.
