Japan Airlines and Amadeus have announced a stronger partnership through a broader distribution agreement. This alliance comes five years after the airline announced in 2014 a complete migration to the Amadeus Altéa Suite platform for reservations, inventory and departure control modules.
With this latest agreement, the worldwide network of Amadeus travel agencies will have access to a wider range of content from Japan Airlines, which includes international content and preferred and negotiated rates. All this content will be available for travel agencies to purchase, reserve and offer services through Amadeus Travel Platform.
Travel agents connected to Amadeus will enjoy an accurate, efficient and real-time exchange of information with full visibility of the airline’s inventory.
And it is that Amadeus Travel Platform facilitates travel agents access to diverse and additional content, which includes accommodation and land transport, so that travel agencies can sell trips in an efficient and personalized way.
For Japan’s travel agencies, this new agreement with Japan Airlines will mean having access to the highest support and service levels, as well as a selection of global content for its customers.
