The luxury hotel Kempinski Hotel Bahía located in Estepona (Málaga) houses in its facilities the most luxurious Christmas tree in the world with a total value of 11.9 million euros, decorated with precious stones and diamonds of high value, pink diamonds, reds, whites and blacks, edible treats and traditional decorations.
The hotel has partnered with Debbie Wingham, the great designer of international celebrities to develop this luxurious project for this Christmas in which digital artist Gary James McQueen and artist Dera Frances Bean, specialized in resin works, also collaborate.
Luxury decorative elements include pink diamonds, sapphires, oval red diamonds, white and black diamonds, and a mix of jewelry made by experts such as Bvulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Chanel.
Until next January 6 it is open to the public, even if you are not staying at the hotel. The tree has extraordinary security measures. The most valuable pieces are only exhibited at specific and special moments and are guarded by security agents.
Guests of the hotel, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary, can also find classic Christmas decorations such as snowflakes, fairies and ornaments carefully treated with a mixture of materials, from diamond dust and 24-carat gold, to Emu and ostrich eggs.
DINNER WITH DIAMONDS
The glamorous sparkle of diamonds will also appear in the ‘Night of Diamonds and Champagne’ that the hotel has prepared for the night of December 28. An event where attendees will have the opportunity to take home a diamond valued at 2,500 euros.
The dinner, with a cost of 100 euros per person, is prepared by executive chef David Fernández, and will have the peculiarity that, each guest will have the opportunity to select a key and try to unlock a box containing the valuable treasure, the bearer of the correct key that manages to open the lock will take home the diamond.
