The InterContinental Hotel Group hotel chain has announced the opening of the Hotel Indigo Madrid Princesa, a former Tirol hotel, in the Madrid area of Moncloa, as announced during the World Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) held in Seville.
The 101-room hotel has joined the IHG Indigo brand, following the philosophy of connecting its guests with the most representative green and urban areas of the city.
The hotel offers travelers rooms with premium services, a meeting room with capacity for 35 people, a gym, a gastronomic space with contemporary seasonal cuisine and regional wines (Best Kitchen & Bar) and a roof terrace with views of the city.
The Hotel Indigo Madrid-Princesa is one of the seven boutique hotels that IHG planned to open in the coming years in the main cities of southern Europe. It is the second of this brand in Madrid, where since 2014 the Indigo Gran Via operates.
In a period of three to five years the hotel company hopes to double the volume of its portfolio of accommodations under this teaching, which in Europe is present in Madrid, Barcelona, Rome and Paris.
