GuesttoGuest buys its main competitor in Canada,

The home exchange platform GuesttoGuest has announced the purchase of its main competitor in Canada, the web, which has been operating for 18 years.

GuesttoGuest has not detailed the total amount of this acquisition. However, he pointed out that since 2015 almost 40 million euros have been spent on his competitors: Trampolinn (France), HomeforHome (Spain) and HomeExchange (United States).

Currently, the group has more than 90 employees in its offices in Paris, Boston and Zagreb. The goal, according to directors Charles-Edouard Girard and Emmanuel Arnaud, is to reach one million users by 2020.

GuesttoGuest has highlighted that Spain is already its second most important market, only behind France, with 35,000 registered homes. By autonomous communities, Catalonia stands out (8,600 houses), Andalusia (7,700) and the Valencian Community (5,500).
