Emirates has increased its ability to process refunds, reaffirming its commitment to customers and business partners for trips affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With nearly half a million rebate requests pending, the airline has taken proactive steps to restructure its administrative procedures and increase resources to expedite reimbursement processing.
Before the pandemic, Emirates processed an average of 35,000 reimbursement requests in a month. It is now preparing to process 150,000 per month and plans to remove its current backlog in early August.
Customers who wish to request travel vouchers or refunds can do so via an online form on the Emirates website, or contact their travel agent for assistance.
