Eight people die due to several avalanches of snow in the Italian Alps

At least eight people died during the weekend because of several avalanches of snow recorded in the Italian Alps, as confirmed Monday by the National Alpine Rescue and Speleological Body (CNSAS).

The agency has detailed through its account on the social network Twitter that six people died in the valley of Aosta, while two did in Lombardy and the province of Bolzano. “In the latter case, it is a young man of 18 years,” he said.

For the moment they have not transcended the identities of the mortal victims, who were in all cases skiers who were outside the tracks, according to the CNSAS.
