Tourism Costa del Sol has recently collaborated in the organization of a familiarization trip organized by MeinPep / Touristik Aktuell in which a dozen travel agencies and German journalists interested in Golf and Spa products have visited the destination.

This action, which also involved La Cala Golf & Spa Resort, has been considered “very positive” by the general director of Tourism Costa del Sol, Arturo Bernal, who has indicated that it has served to “show the benefits of a destination in which can be enjoyed throughout the year to professionals who will then be responsible for marketing the offer of the Costa del Sol.

During their stay on the Costa del Sol, German travel agents and journalists were able to play golf, enjoy the spa and the rest of the facilities of the complex located in the Malaga town of Mijas, complementing this trip with different visits and experiences in the destination.

Specifically, in 2018 the province of Malaga was visited by 317,280 hoteliers and apartments from Germany.

The representatives of the German market saw first hand the potential of the Costa del Sol golf segment, which with more than 70 has become a paradise for all those passionate about this sport.
