Costa Cruises will invest 8 million euros in the renovation of the ‘Costa Fortuna’, which will return to Europe at the end of March after operating in the Asian market, offering an itinerary from Tarragona with stopovers in the Mediterranean.
The reform of the 103,000-ton ship with capacity for 3,470 passengers focuses on the creation of spaces dedicated to offering typical Italian experiences and products, a hallmark of Costa Cruises, such as pizzerias and ice cream parlors.
The remodeling of the ‘Costa Fortuna’ has been designed by the professionals of Atefice Group, except the Costa Shop, whose reform will be put in the hands of Dordoni Architetti, Milanese company that has designed the cabins of the new flagship of the company, the ‘Costa Smeralda ‘.
Once the remodeling process has been completed in Singapore, the ‘Costa Fortuna’ will offer, from December 16 to February 25, all the new services in two different itineraries of a week, which can be combined, with departures from Singapore to discover Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia.
On March 5, 2019 will begin the positioning itinerary, which will depart from Singapore to Genoa and from May 26, the ‘Costa Fortuna’ will operate, until September 22, its itinerary through the Mediterranean with departure in Tarragona and stopovers in Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Olbia (Sardinia), Genoa and Marseille.
