The new 4-star hotel will have 92 rooms and will be located in the center of Budapest next to the Andrassy Avenue, and adds to the portfolio of the hotel chain after the signing of a long-term lease.
The director of Expansión, Federico Holzmann, has celebrated the strategic location of Budapest and has indicated that the chain continues to look for hotel assets, mainly located in central areas of cities that “combine high tourist interest with the demand of the corporate client, both at the national as well as international, with the focus on European cities and capitals “.
In Europe, the chain founded in Barcelona also plans to open the Catalonia Milano Centrale (Italy) and another hotel in Porto (Portugal).
At the state level, Catalonia Hotels & Resorts plans to open establishments in San Sebastian, Bilbao and Malaga, and will expand the Seville of Catalonia Santa Justa and the Menorcan Catalonia Mirador des Port.
