Carlson Wagonlit Travel appoints Rachel O’Brien director of technological transformation

Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), a travel management company specializing in the corporate segment, has appointed Rachel O’Brien as vice president and director of technology transformation with immediate effect.

O’Brien will be responsible for directing, reporting, measuring and budgeting the entire CWT product and technology part, under the supervision of CWT executive vice president and CWT technology director Andrew Jordan, the company said in a statement.

“Your work will be key in our digital transformation as it will underpin our processes and improve our skills to meet our goals,” said Jordan.

O’Brien has held positions related to digital transformation at Santander UK, Pearson Technology, Penguin Group and NSC Technology. His most recent work has been with Ladbrokes Coral, where he was responsible for technology and implementation of change and new culture in its technological transformation. She has a degree in Education and has a postgraduate degree in Secondary Education and a Prince2 Practitioner project management certificate.
