BWH Hotel Group has announced that it will offer financial support to its hotels and owners who will have the possibility of delaying the fees to be paid during the next three months.
In addition, in order to safeguard the health and well-being of its guests and employees, the hotel group has applied various protocols and specific prevention measures aimed at reinforcing the cleanliness of the establishments.
The chain has activated a series of measures with the aim of supporting its hotels and owners in the face of the continued decline in operations that has been experienced in the tourism industry due to the negative effects of Covid-19. These actions mainly translate into the delay of the fees that should be paid during the next three months.
Likewise, the chain is also adopting a comprehensive cancellation policy that considers the inconveniences caused by the coronavirus. In this sense, the Best Western Hotels & Resorts brand – belonging to the BWH Hotel Group -, had already anticipated a few weeks ago when it announced that, in order to mitigate the negative effects of coronavirus on the hotel industry, it would maintain the Elite category to all members of the Best Western Rewards program.
A measure that its members can enjoy until January 31, 2022 without having to meet the necessary requirements. In addition, members of this program will be able to donate their points, which never expire, to the BWHR charitable fund, Best Western for a Better World, committed to helping people who have suffered from the virus worldwide.
REINFORCEMENT OF CLEANING
In addition, the BWH Hotel Group has applied various protocols and specific prevention measures aimed at reinforcing the cleanliness of establishments to guarantee the health and well-being of its guests and employees.
Among them, the use of improved techniques to clean the rooms after each stay, paying more attention to the contact points (doors, elevator buttons, doorknobs, locks, light switches, etc.); special health care in common areas; or an increased presence of hand sanitizer gel dispensers.
Following the advice of local Health Authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO), with whom it remains in permanent contact to obtain the most up-to-date information on the coronavirus, the group has set up an information space on its member portal.
It is a reference source with advice and current information for clients where they are encouraged to follow the recommendations of the official health authorities.
