Booking has announced the launch of new products for the management of tourist rental accommodations, among which new features include a messaging system and another automatic programming to streamline operations and even control who makes the reservation, says the agency ‘online’ travel .
Some of the products, presented during the international congress organized by the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) in Las Vegas, will also be available in the Pulse mobile app and can even be integrated directly into the programs and channels of the collaborating accommodation.
In a statement, the company emphasizes that they will bring “versatility, personality and unity to the platform”, so that tourist rental accommodations can make “global changes, optimize management times and improve the experience of their customers.”
In addition, block action tools, accessible through the Group Connect page, allow their collaborating accommodations to establish cancellation conditions, special offers or house rules for all their accommodations, in blocks, or at one time.
Another novelty is that through a guest manager you can control who reserves the accommodation by collecting on the same information such as verified phone numbers, addresses, number of previous stays with Booking.com, etc.
This tool, says the company, will also allow employees to immediately report a client’s misbehavior and prevent them from re-booking the accommodation in the unlikely event that something goes wrong during their stay.
On the ‘Your profile’ page, collaborators can add a personalized message about themselves, their accommodation and the area where they are located.
Regarding connectivity, all options will be available for collaborating accommodations, regardless of how they connect to manage their account of establishments, either through the extranet of Booking.com, the mobile ‘app’ Pulse or a provider of connectivity
