Barceló Hotel Group has announced the opening of its first hotel in Lisbon, the ‘Occidental Lisboa’, which becomes the second hotel of the hotel company in Portugal after the inauguration last June of its first hotel in Lisbon. country, the ‘Allegro Madeira’.
The establishment, built in 2015 of four stars category and with 105 rooms, is located in a central location close to the Avenida de la Libertad, Lisbon.
The hotel has a rooftop bar with views of the river and the city. Its à la carte restaurant combines local specialties with international cuisine. The ‘Allegro Madeira’ also has a gym, a meeting room with capacity for 75 people and a parking lot.
The Mallorcan hotel chain does not rule out new projects inside and outside the capital with local partners. “We are confident that our offer in Portugal will continue to grow in the coming years, thanks to new alliances with local partners and our varied brand architecture, which allows us to expand with more than one hotel in the same destination,” said the general manager of Business Development of Barceló Hotel Group, Jaime Buxó.
