Barceló opens a five-star hotel in Istanbul and increases its hotels in Turkey to three

Barceló Hotel Group opened on Monday a new five-star hotel in the center of Istanbul, with 270 rooms, a city in which it has been present continuously since 2004, as announced by the Mallorcan hotel group in a statement.

After the incorporation of the two four-star hotels of its Western brand into this market (‘Occidental The Public’ and ‘Occidental Pera Istanbul’, the group consolidates its position as the most positioned Spanish chain in Turkey with three establishments and a total offer of 382 rooms.

The new hotel, which will be marketed as ‘Barceló Istanbul’, is located next to the emblematic Plaza Taskim, in the most important commercial and business area of ​​the city.

The accommodation, aimed at both leisure and business tourism, offers four meeting rooms and an ‘executive lounge’ with capacity for up to 600 people, as well as an à la carte restaurant, and the B-LikEart concept (healthy breakfast). as B-Locals (cultural activities).

It also has a wellness center of 1,500 square meters on the eleventh floor, as well as a gym, and a rooftop bistro bar on the top floor.
