In addition to these distinctions by the American tour operator Apple Vacations, the chain has climbed 7 positions in the ranking of Hotels magazine and is already one of the hundred largest in the world
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, the hotel division of the Living Resorts business unit of Grupo Piñero, has been awarded seven Golden Apple awards granted by Apple Vacations: one of the largest tour operators in the United States, at a ceremony held on the 9th of September in Chicago.
The seven establishments of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts recognized for their commitment to excellence have been Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal, Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka’an and Grand Bahia Principe Tulum, in Riviera Maya (Mexico), and Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar, Fantasia Bahia Principe Punta Cana, Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado and Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville, in the Dominican Republic. Specifically, the Dominican Republic has received one more award with respect to those awarded in 2018 – it has passed 3 to 4 awards in its establishments.
Lluisa Salord, Corporate Commercial Director of Grupo Piñero, said that “we are very proud to have been awarded by Apple Vacations. These awards are a recognition of our commitment to provide our clients with the best possible vacation experiences in our hotels in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. ” Salord has also expressed “our thanks to our employees, who are the key pillar of the company and without whose continued work we would not opt for these awards, and Apple Vacations and our partners, for their continued support and trust.”
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, among the 100 largest hotel chains in the world
In addition to these seven distinctions by Apple Vacations, Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has climbed positions in the annual ranking of Hotels magazine, strengthening itself as one of the eight largest Spanish hotel chains and entering the Top 100 of the largest in the entire world.
Specifically, Bahia Principe has climbed 7 positions in this influential ranking compared to last year, ranking 99. That best performance is partly explained by the opening in 2018 of its twenty-fifth establishment: the Fantasia Bahia Principe Tenerife, to which the group allocated an investment of 80 million euros.
