AMResorts, manager of the Apple Lesisure Group brands, plans to develop 9,000 new rooms in 23 of the group’s 66 all-inclusive resorts, of which 2,500 will be ready before the end of the year. With these new developments, AMResorts will expand its inventory by 40%.
In a statement, the company said it has closed the first half of the year with great growth. In addition, it has signed six agreements to operate as many properties under its brands.
It has also inaugurated the first resort in Europe of the Secrets Resorts & Spas brand, in Palma de Mallorca, the ‘Secrets Mallorca Villamil Rerost & Spa’, of 162 rooms, after a remodeling of 3.5 million euros.
During 2019, AMResorts has expanded its global presence with six new contracts to operate resorts in Mexico, Curazado and the Dominican Republic.
